Lymphography in Israel

The multidisciplinary modern clinic "Top Ihilov" conducts comprehensive examination of lymphatic vessels and nodes at its diagnostic center. Using traditional and completely new examination methods, diseases are identified: lymphadenitis, lymphogranulomatosis, leukemia, lymphosarcoma, reticulosarcoma, etc. Malignant diseases are particularly dangerous; their early diagnosis allows the clinic's specialists to start treatment in a timely manner.

86%
of surgeries at Top Ihilov clinic are performed using minimally invasive methods
30%
of cancer cases can be prevented thanks to diagnosis at stage 0
1900
patients have undergone treatment using conservative methods

Lymphography is indicated for monitoring the treatment process and recovery dynamics. All diagnostic procedures are conducted in accordance with the standards of the best clinics in the European Union and America. The results of the examination are accepted by all medical institutions worldwide.

Advantages of Lymphography at the "Top Ihilov" Clinic

The clinic has reliable equipment and highly qualified medical personnel for conducting examinations. For foreign citizens, there are doctors who speak multiple languages. Lymphography performed at the "Top Ihilov" diagnostic center provides a complete picture of the disease, painless procedures, and a convenient examination schedule.

Types of Examination:

1. Direct lymphography. Widely used by all clinics, including "Top Ihilov". This method is reliable and provides a clear and distinct picture. This method of examining lymphatic vessels and nodes is based on the introduction of a contrast agent directly into the lymphatic system, followed by radiological monitoring of its distribution. Before the introduction of the contrast agent, the tissues around the lymph nodes and lymphatic vessels are stained. At "Top Ihilov", the staining agents are introduced using a syringe-gun, without disrupting the integrity of the skin; the agent is "pushed" through the skin under high pressure. The coloring agents are completely safe.

X-ray imaging is performed in two stages: immediately after the introduction of the contrast agent, these images show the filling of the lymphatic vessels, and after a day, at this time the contrast agent accumulates in the lymph nodes, making them well visible.

2. Indirect lymphography. A method in which the contrast agent is introduced into the soft tissues near the lymphatic vessels, and then penetrates into the vessels and nodes from the tissues. This technique does not accurately show the picture of diseases and lesions, therefore it is rarely practiced at the "Top Ihilov" clinic, only in cases where other methods are contraindicated.

3. Radionuclide lymphography. A new promising method that has received the highest evaluation as safe and reliable. Successfully applied at "Top Ihilov". Radionuclide lymphography is an examination using radioactive agents that are introduced into the lymphatic vessel. Having radioactivity (in minimal doses that do not affect human health), the agent leaves a radioactive trace in the vessel, which is recorded in a scintillation camera. This procedure is completely safe and provides excellent results. The technique can be used for diagnosing diseases of lymph nodes and vessels located in any part of the body.
