The essence of the method lies in combining laser therapy with the administration of Tookad Soluble – a photosensitized substance synthesized from the photosynthetic pigment of a type of aquatic bacteria that feed on light energy.

The light stream triggers a chain reaction that destroys the cancerous tumour, lasting about 1.5 hours. During this time, the tumour does not heat up, and the adjacent healthy tissues remain unchanged. After the procedure, the drug is eliminated from the bloodstream within 3-4 hours.

Several hours after the treatment, the patient leaves the clinic, and after a week – returns to a normal lifestyle with usual physical activities.
