Dr. Yuri Goldes is a specialist in the treatment of gastroenterological diseases. Every year, the doctor performs about a hundred surgeries, both using traditional methods and employing the modern robotic technique 'da Vinci'. Yuri Goldes is truly an international physician – he is fluent in English, Russian, German, and Hebrew. His professional activity involves diagnosing and determining treatment tactics for patients with gastrointestinal diseases, oncological diseases, or motility disorders.
In 1994, Yuri Goldes graduated with honors from medical university. Until 1998, the doctor completed his internship at the Chaim Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer. Dr. Goldes gained surgical practice for a whole decade in the department of general and laparoscopic surgery at the same clinic. Starting in 2005, Yuri Goldes underwent certification in general surgery. He then spent two years in a fellowship at the Hannover Medical School, in the surgical departments of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary surgery. In 2011, Dr. Goldes took the position of head of the gastrointestinal diseases department at the Chaim Sheba Medical Center. In 2013, he again trained in Germany, this time in Berlin, practicing hepatobiliary surgeries in the department of visceral surgery and transplantation.
Like many renowned physicians, Yuri Goldes shares his experience and knowledge with those who are just starting their journey in medicine. He teaches a course in general surgery. The doctor is a member of many medical associations, both in Israel and abroad.
