A renowned dermatologist in Israel. Currently, he heads the dermatology department at the Ichilov and Assuta medical complexes. His medical practice is related to the treatment of dermatovenerological diseases and dermatological pathologies, as well as skin diseases caused by hereditary factors. Among the ailments that the doctor successfully treats are erythema, tumors, melanomas, eczema, and more. Eli Shpeher dedicates most of his life to scientific work and training the new generation of doctors, teaching at the Technion University. He serves as the chairman of the examination committee for interns. Dr. Shpeher graduated from the medical faculty of Jerusalem University, completed an internship at the Jefferson University Medical Center in the treatment of hereditary skin pathologies, as well as in dermatology at the Rambam Medical Center. Since 2008, he has been leading the dermatology department at the Ichilov medical complex. Previously, the professor headed the molecular dermatology laboratory, which developed new treatment methods for a number of hereditary skin diseases. Shpeher is the author of more than 250 publications on medical topics and has participated with reports in over 90 conferences worldwide. The professor is a member of the editorial board of a medical journal dedicated to dermatology and is also the editor of a British publication focused on skin diseases. The doctor is a member of numerous professional societies.
