Dr. Koyfman is a renowned expert in cardiology, focusing on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular pathology. Pathologies arising as a consequence of lupus erythematosus or other serious illnesses are no exception.
Special attention is given by Bella Koyfman to anomalies of the cardiovascular system (pulmonary trunk stenosis, Lutembacher syndrome, etc.). Among other cardiovascular diseases that the doctor addresses, it is worth mentioning infectious endocarditis and coronary artery disease. A significant part of Bella Koyfman's medical practice involves rehabilitation programs following various cardiac surgical interventions (stenting, angioplasty, transplants, etc.).
Koyfman received her medical education at the Medical Institute in Chisinau.
After moving to Israel, she completed her internship in internal medicine at Ichilov Medical Center, after which she specialized in clinical cardiology there. From 1995 to 1996, Bella Koyfman underwent training at the Brompton Hospital in London in the treatment of congenital heart defects.
From 1991 to 2002, she held the position of senior physician in the cardiology department at Ichilov Medical Center, and afterwards, she headed the echocardiographic diagnostics department there. Currently, Koyfman is the director of the Women's Health Medical Center, overseeing the rehabilitation department of the Ichilov Cardiac Center.
Dr. Koyfman dedicates much time to teaching at Tel Aviv University, is a member of the Israeli Medical Association, and has numerous publications in Israeli and international journals on professional topics.
