He specialized in traumatology and sports medicine in Europe (Germany, Austria). In the USA, he acquired specialization in arthroscopy of the knee, shoulder, and hip joints. Currently, Dr. Arbel teaches students in Israel (Tel Aviv University) and the USA (Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Chicago). Ron Arbel serves as president of the sports medicine community in Israel, is an honorary member of the American Association of Arthrosurgeons, and represents Israel in Europe in the organization of sports traumatology.
