Widely known in many countries around the world and in Israel as a specialist in joint prosthetics and reconstruction. He heads the joint transplantation department at Soroka Medical Center (Be'er Sheva).

Dr. Benkovich began his medical career at Tel Aviv University, after which he completed an internship to confirm his specialization in orthopedics at Soroka Medical Center, where he is now the head of the department. He trained in reconstructive joint surgery and orthopedic traumatology at renowned medical centers in the USA. In addition to treatment and diagnosis, Vadim Benkovich teaches and heads the orthosurgery department at Ben-Gurion University. He shares his clinical and scientific experience not only with students but also with experienced physicians, participating in major Israeli and international orthopedic associations and organizations for the treatment and restoration of joints. Dr. Benkovich has over 20 years of surgical experience. During this time, he has achieved high results in his work. He not only practices but also develops new techniques in joint prosthetics that minimally traumatize the patient, promote faster recovery, healing of the joint, and return the patient to normal life. These techniques are applied worldwide. Every year, Dr. Benkovich performs surgery on no less than 500 people, helping them literally get back on their feet.
